Associate Qualitative Research Manager

Job Description:

The Associate Qualitative Research Manager would support the Community Management team with the daily administration of multiple online co-creation communities, including administering and monitoring content, administering surveys, and data and member management.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and update member databases across all active research communities
  • Monitor community email accounts and respond to member inquiries
  • Draft and send out weekly eLetters to members across all active communities
  • Post weekly content updates
  • Participate in community postings, as yourself and avatars, to generate discussion and engage members
  • Survey planning and design
  • Data tabulation programming
  • Support member recruitment and retention efforts, and community refreshment processes
  • Manage technical community administration tasks such as workspace setup, permissions, incentive administration, and content publishing.
  • Generate reports when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years relevant market research experience (includes college-level coursework), with a focus on qualitative research or equivalent qualitatively focused skillset
  • Experience interacting in online community tools such as blogs, social news, video/photo sharing, social networking applications, widgets/gadgets, viral marketing campaigns, user-generated content and podcasts
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent and proven project management and time management skills, ability to set priorities and manage expectations
  • Strong analytic skills and instincts, with excellent attention to detail
  • Works effectively individually or in teams
  • Takes initiative, is self motivated  
  • Tech savvy, knowledge of HMTL a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of qualitative research methods, quantitative research knowledge and database management a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Qualitative Research Manager

Job Description:

The Qualitative Research Manager would be responsible for managing the daily qualitative activities of multiple online community environments including content creation, moderating, member management/communications, daily site administration, and analysis/reporting. 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and post interactive content that encourages participation and the development of user-generated content to ensure that the community is achieving its objectives
  • Moderate community discussions and studies, and generate reports when necessary
  • Participate in community activities, as yourself and avatars, to generate discussion and engage members
  • Analyze all data and make strategic recommendations designed to meet client’s research needs
  • Recommend and help implement suggested upgrades to the member experience
  • Maintain and update member databases
  • Monitor community email accounts and respond to member inquiries
  • Draft and send out weekly eLetters to members across all active communities
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content
  • Support member recruitment and retention efforts, and community refreshment processes
  • Manage technical community administration tasks such as workspace setup, permissions, incentive administration, and content publishing.
  • Ensure website content is current, members are energized, prepare community health reports and direct the prompt administration of incentives
  • Support member retention efforts, community refresh processes, and member appreciation fulfillment

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years relevant qualitative market research experience  
  • Analytical orientation; knowledge of qualitative research methods, familiarity with online qualitative techniques a plus; quantitative experience a plus
  • Focus on quality control and processes, attention to detail, and motivated to excel
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once; highly organized and accurate
  • Ability to moderate, engage community members
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing vendors and multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and draw higher level insights
  • Solution-driven approach and team-oriented mindset with an eye on the big picture

Quantitative Research Manager

Job Description:

The Quantitative Research Manager would be responsible for managing online quantitative research projects including questionnaire design and development, fielding online surveys, and analysis and reporting. 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Questionnaire planning and design
  • Fielding surveys
  • Data tabulation programming
  • Analyze survey results
  • Report writing
  • Recruitment/refreshment efforts
  • Member Database management
  • Presenting key research findings to clients

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quantitative market research
  • Knowledge of quantitative research methods and analysis; qualitative experience a plus
  • Focus on quality control and processes, attention to detail, and motivated to excel
  • Proven to meet deadlines while managing vendors and multiple projects at once
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and draw higher level insights
  • Solution-driven approach and team-oriented mindset with an eye on the big picture
  • Experience in questionnaire design, data analysis, report writing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access
  • Knowledge of survey programming, crosstab and/or statistical packages a plus (e.g., Qualtrics, Wincross, SPSS, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
